//DEEP HOUSE – UPCOMING ARTISTS 2015//
He is admittedly one of the artists who really embodies the genre of Tech House caused by the tight reduced exposure with clean techno beats and restrained vocals which makes it hard to pigeonhole him into either the world of Deep House or Techno. Timeless engagement with incessant brilliance has been inserted in his last releases on the back-to-back compilation. This previously straight walk through the middle with the labels Souvenir and Mobilee lead to his upcoming EP debut with Kompakt this year. With Re.You on repeat key in 2015.

This epic sound is so down to earth but at the same time it gives you wings to reach outer edge levels. It’s fascinating listening to the latest EP release Starchild while being in a club. Suddenly everyone around you on the dance floor closes their eyes and seems to get lost but closer to oneself than before. Their output is so intense, vulnerable but majestic in different but the only way. This producer duo is creating deep passionate house tunes as a new way of defining poetry in electronic music. In 2015 there are going to be more people who won’t be able to describe the timeless output they are fortunately bringing out to us.
A warm and soulful voice, a dancy and vibrantly touching house beat and the bouncy flair of pure joy is the recipe for this Londons’ producer sound. After Canadian artist Kaytranada made his unique way out into the world, MNEK also follows in 2015 and shows that influences of soul and R’n’B can enrich the pure house sound with touching flow and sexy vibes. His upcoming EP Small Talk, due in march, includes all his recent work and comes with two fresh tracks.
Even though Alan Abrahams is an old rabbit in this electronic music business where he has worked over two decades already, the refreshing and beautiful collaboration with South-American flute master LCio saw him return to the surface. In my opinion the wonderful and dreamy track Surrender didn’t get the recognition it deserved. The next collective project is going to be released in march on the Livesafer Compilation 2 by the label Live at Robert Johnson. It doesn’t sound as romantic anymore but most skilled flute arrangements mixed with tinny 90s dub beats make up for that. Looking forward to more from this collab.
Already last year I thought the daughter of world known artist father Sting would release a second EP on Life and Death. Gladly the info came up that Vaal is going to bring it out this year finally. Her recent remix of Michael Gracioppo’s Creep with Tale Of Us has a great interpretation of a driving beat and adds an exciting dramatic atmosphere that meshes to the epic vocals of Wayne Tennant. A next remixing project for Get Physical is apparently in the pipeline for this year as well as some own production.
